The jewels I make in silver are not rhodium-plated. It's a design choice. Rhodium plating makes the silver of a 'cold color' that I don't like. I love the natural color of silver, from the alloy,
If you keep your jewels in closed boxes when you are not using them they will keep the original shine and color exactly as you bought them. If they will oxidize slightly just wash them with a toothbrush, a little piece of soap and some baking soda. Do not use chemicals. Respect this beautiful planet! Noble metals can be transformed continuously that's why I love them, they are precious like our planet. If a jewel will be damaged for various reasons it is almost certainly repairable or replaceable. The metals will be melted again and reused.
Jewels with marble and other stones must be treated with special care. Thank you : )
